A prototype of an interface for editing documents using generative models, as well as a beta version of the function of uploading PDF files to the GigaChat dialogue for later work, was presented by vice president Denis Filippov at the AI Journey conference. “Salyut” for digital surfaces of Sberbank.
The web interface for editing documents using generative models combines access to key models and technologies for text editing: the GigaChat service, the Kandinsky neural network and the SAGE spelling correction AI service. Thus, it will be possible, for example, to compose a text or document, request ideas and structure, enrich the publication with images, adapt the text to any audience, correct spelling and punctuation.
GigaChat will also add the ability to download and work with PDF files. For example, you may want to summarize or describe key ideas in a major financial report, or create questions about the text and its content – GigaChat can help with that too.
“The basic interactive interfaces of the services have not yet been widely adapted to document editing scenarios; research and experiments to create new interfaces are needed and are being carried out by large companies, including Sber,” Filippov said.
The company’s top executive stated that large language models can automate the search and retrieval of complex information, help generate ideas, help plan and structure documents, automatically create images, produce complex documents for a specific purpose, advise on stylistic issues, take into account correct spelling. context etc. take into account.
“All these capabilities will soon be available to GigaChat users,” said Denis Filippov, adding that the new capabilities in the first phase can be tested in the web version of the service.
Sber’s eighth international conference “Journey to the World of Artificial Intelligence” (AI Journey) started on November 22 and will last until November 24.
