Attending the first international summit on the safe use of artificial intelligence in the UK, 28 countries adopted the Bletchley Declaration on the safe use of artificial intelligence. The document was reportedly distributed by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s office TASS.

“For the benefit of everyone, artificial intelligence must be designed, developed, deployed and used in a safe, human-centered and reliable way,” the document states.

The declaration also points out that artificial intelligence “poses a significant risk” that “involves daily life.”

“Human rights, justice, transparency, accountability, security, regulation, appropriate human oversight, ethics, privacy and data protection must be taken into account,” the document states.
