The hacker attack on the National Payment Card System (NSCP), the operator of the Mir payment system, did not affect the operation of the system. The newspaper reports this with reference to the operator’s press service. “Kommersant”.
NSPK denies any data leak from the hacked site. According to the press service, the site was developed and maintained by a third-party contractor. It is a business card that only contains information about the company’s activities and does not contain any confidential data. It has nothing to do with the payment infrastructure of the site.
An NSPK representative said it was impossible to access any of the company’s systems from its website because servers and data processing centers do not have access to the internet.
These statements were confirmed by the source of the publication. According to him, hackers were not able to access important information due to various security loops.
Hacker group DumpForums claimed responsibility for hacking the NSPK website.
