Acer announced the new SpatialLabs View Pro 27 monitor, which supports 3D images and sound. Portal states that the device can create three-dimensional effects without using special glasses. High Tech Mail.Ru.

SpatialLabs View Pro 27 is a 27-inch monitor with 4K resolution, 160Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor is equipped with a camera system that analyzes the position of the user’s head and eyes and then adapts the image to the user’s viewing angle. Thus, the parallax effect is achieved when objects on the screen appear three-dimensional and move out of plane. In this case, the user can switch to normal 2D mode at any time.

Additionally, the monitor supports 3D audio, which also depends on the user’s head position. 2.5 W stereo speakers direct sound waves to the listener’s location. Artificial intelligence is responsible for voice processing. Acer says the SpatialLabs View Pro 27 is the only monitor on the market that lets you enjoy spatial audio without headphones.

The monitor has a number of additional benefits: anti-glare screen coating, a removable viewfinder to protect from light, wall mountability, and adjustable height and tilt of the stand.

The monitor will go on sale in early 2024. The cost of the device has not been disclosed yet.

Previously Google’s smartphone had the “world’s best display” the screen is broken immediately after purchase.
