Smart business solutions provider MTT has developed and connected a voice robot on the VoiceBox platform for the Russian Radio Ural radio station in Yekaterinburg, according to the company’s press service.

It was noted that the digital assistant accepts congratulatory requests from radio listeners live, using a specially designated phone number.

“Our voice assistants are used today in completely different sectors and scenarios, from medicine to the gas industry. We are very happy that now the radio station helps its listeners celebrate special events in their lives, congratulate loved ones and create a good mood,” said Dmitry Gordienko, head of the MTT project office.

The company explained that the voice robot greets the radio listener, clarifies which city the call is coming from, asks who to congratulate and which song to play as a congratulation. Moreover, he does all this with the voices of popular radio hosts.

“The most important thing is that our listeners have the opportunity to apply faster. Previously this required writing paper letters or sending emails. Now it is enough to make one call,” said Larisa Ryabinina, host of the Den-Denskaya program.

According to him, the assistant saves time when working with applications, as employees no longer need to manually receive calls and transcribe them. He emphasized that now all this is done by artificial intelligence and sometimes it copes with it better than a living human.

MTT also noted that the digital assistant records all information about the call and transmits it to messengers in text form. This method provides radio station employees with convenience and reliability of service.

Let us remind you that the voice assistant, which started working in early September, received congratulations and wishes from more than 400 people within a month, and the number of calls is increasing day by day.
