The source has released a new carbon-coloured render of the Tecno foldable smartphone, confirming the initial leaks saying the Phantom V Flip will be launched in mid to late autumn, providing an exit window for the device.
According to rumors, the Tecno Phantom V Flip clamshell model will have a 6.75-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 144 Hz refresh rate. The external round screen on the back cover will have a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a fingerprint scanner will be placed on the side of the device.
The sub-flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory will be responsible for the performance of the new product. Some sources also claim to use the old Dimensity 1300.
The smartphone will offer a dual camera setup consisting of a 64MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The selfie camera will be represented by a 32-megapixel sensor. The Tecno Phantom V Flip is also rewarded with a 4000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support and a preloaded Android 13 system with the custom HiOS 13 shell.
According to some insiders, the novelty may be one of the most budgetary representatives of folding smartphones. The exact cost of the device has not yet been disclosed.
