Microsoft urges MSI motherboard users not to update Windows

Microsoft has released an update for Windows 11 that crashes the system on computers with MSI motherboards. In this respect informs Windows Latest Portal.

The purpose of the KB5029351 update was to fix some security, performance and system compatibility bugs in Windows 11. However, after installing it, many users encountered the BSOD blue screen with the message “UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR” (Russian – unsupported processor). This error occurs when trying to start the system and prevents you from continuing.

Mostly computer users with MSI motherboards complain about this problem. According to the victims, owners of computers with 13th generation Intel processors also face the error. Currently the only solution is to revert to the previous version of the operating system.

Microsoft has already acknowledged the existence of a bug in the new build of the operating system, is actively investigating the reasons for this and plans to release a fix in the near future. Owners of computers with MSI motherboards have been asked not to update to build KB5029351 for now.
