An allegedly malicious website has started appearing in the Google search engine where you can download drivers for AMD Radeon graphics cards. According to computer worldto go to a dangerous resource, simply click on the first link in the “AMD driver” request.

The block has been flagged as an advertisement so inconspicuously that the new inexperienced owner of an AMD Radeon graphics card could download a virus or other malware while searching for drivers.

According to journalists, ad units’ repositioning exacerbates the problem. This makes it difficult to identify and search for the creators of the fake resources. Hackers and scammers regularly use text ads to access computers and people’s personal data.

Journalists noted that Google should be able to better protect its users. Currently, the only way to deal with dangerous links in search results is to report them to support.
