The authors of the TeaserPlay YouTube channel have again released a video made with the Unreal Engine 5. This time they showed what a full-fledged remake could look like Half-Life 2 when it comes out in 2022.
As in the case of previous works, in creating the concept, the authors have used modern technologies, including Lumen (dynamic global lighting system), Nanite (virtualized geometry system), and Ray Tracing (ray tracing).
In the video you can see the recreated locations of City 17, as well as the faces of Gordon Freeman and G-man. In addition, the video shows what the gameplay of the remake could look like.
