As part of the TGS 2022 exhibition, Konami announced new projects. We’re talking about remasters of two 90s games at once, which once received high marks from critics and gamers alike. And no it’s not Silent Hill and not Metal Gear Solid, the HD re-releases that many fans have been waiting for.

The company will release remasters Suikoden and Suikoden 2. These games really have a lot of positive reviews. For example, on Metacritic, the average rating from critics is 82 points. Gamers also rated the project even more positively – with 9.1 points.

Both games belong to the RPG genre like the classic Final Fantasy. One of the main advantages is an exciting story and well-developed characters. By the way, in the middle of the plot of the first part lies the political struggle within the realm of the Red Moon. The protagonist, the son of a general, must raise an army that can end tyranny and war.

Suikoden and Suikoden 2 remasters are slated for 2023 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The authors promise HD backgrounds, updated visuals, new ambient sounds, auto-save and rewind features, and a dialog log. Steam already has a project page.
Recall that previous possible screenshots of the remake leaked to the network. Silent Hill 2.
