This was announced in Discord by the community manager of the Mundfish studio.
If gamers want to purchase a game on a Steam account using alternative payment methods, they can do so.

At the same time, the game page is available on Steam.

In addition, the authors have published updated system requirements for the promotion. According to them, the game will start with a rather weak configuration. A system with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card is sufficient to run.
This is what all the requirements look like:

👋 STALKER 2 pre-orders have been canceled – gamers who bought the game will get their money back
- Atomic Heart has new system requirements. The game is pulled by the video card of 2015
- Surely it’s not an Atomic Heart? An insider talked about BioShock 4 with a Soviet city in Antarctica
- The authors of Atomic Heart showed what gamers will experience during the game. Looks very unpleasant
