Shrines of Depths are spread all over the world Genshin Impact shrines that can only be opened with special keys. This is of course an optional part of the gameplay, but in the tombs players will find a generous reward in the form of 1-4 star gear, experience points, upgrade materials, artifacts, money and 40 source stones – the premium currency of the game.

Finding the graves is not difficult. Huge rectangular buildings are visible from a distance and emit a bluish or golden light (depending on the area). So far, there are two major areas available in the game – Mondstadt and Li Yue, which each have 10 shrines. With the expansion of the world, an increase in the number of graves is also expected.
Once you are near the Shrine of the Deep, you will be prompted to use the key. Collecting everything is quite a difficult task. Like shrines, keys are divided by area. You won’t be able to find keys to Li Yue’s graves in Mondstadt and vice versa.

You can get keys in different ways:
- clearing territories;
- completing quests;
- level up;
- the passage of the “Adventurer’s Guide”.
Keys in Mondstadt

The easiest way to get the first keys in Mondstadt is to clear the zones:
- Temple of the Falcon (rank 12) = 1 key;

- Temple of the Wolf of the North (rank 15) = 1 key;

- Temple of the Lion (rank 18) = 1 key;

- Eagle Gate (Rank 21) = 1 key.

It will also be easy to complete chapters 4 and 5 of the Adventurer’s Handbook. In chapter 4 you need to upgrade the statues of the Seven in Mondstadt to level 6, and in 5 you need to find 100 chests. For completing these tasks you will receive 1 extra key respectively.

Only two quests are required to receive:
- New Adventure Horizons = 1 key (given by a character named Katherine in Mondstadt);
- Adventure Rank Ascension I = 3 keys (The quest will appear automatically upon reaching rank 25, the zone is located on Starcatcher’s Rock in Mondstadt.

Keys and Shrines of the Deep in Li Yue

You can’t collect all the keys in this area until you reach rank 35. Li Yue is a much larger (and more puzzle-oriented) area than Mondstadt. Therefore, the search for graves will be a little more difficult.
Stripping Zones:
- Abandoned Ruins (rank 24) = 1 key;

- Winding Path (rank 27) = 1 key;

- Hidden Palace of Gui Zang (30 rank and 35 rank for completing level 2) = 1 key for each level.

There are more missions in Li Yue than in Mondstadt:
- Secret of Chi = 1 key (talk to Yang Er, who is near the teleportation point under the Wuwan ramp and in front of the Stone Gate, at the ruins in the Bishui Plain);

- Lone Tree = 1 key (talk to Yuan Hong in Minyun Village);

- Volatile Treasure = 1 key (start the quest by talking to Soraya at the ruins in Guili Valley);

- Adventure Rank Ascension II = 3 keys (like the first time, this quest is given by Katherine, but in Li Yue).
It is important to remember that when passing through zones and high-level tasks, you can get multiple keys at once.
It may take a long time to find all the Shrines of the Deep, but don’t worry. Even if you find one of the shrines and the key you need is not there, they will surely appear during the passage and you can return to an already cleared place. You can also refer to our screenshots where all the shrines in both areas are highlighted.
Keys and Shrines of the Deep in Sumeru

The newest area of Genshin Impact is home to many secrets, including four Shrines of the Deep. But the search for keys just got a little easier – you’ll have to pump the Tree of Dreams and the statue of Dendro Archon.
- Dream Tree Ascension Level 8 = 1 Key (read our guide for all the details on how to level the Dream Tree).

- For the second, fourth and sixth levels of the Dendro Archon statue = 3 keys (you will need dendrocules for leveling, read our guide with a map of their location).

To find all the Tombs, you have to explore the entire Sumeru.
First Sanctuary of the Deep located near the arena with Feathered Mold, a new boss in Genshin Impact.
second sanctuary can be found at the top of the Chatrakam cave region. Use fast travel to the teleport, which is marked on the map. After doing this, head east. While on the hill, you should see the Tomb of the Deep under a large tree.
To open the third sanctuary of the deep, you need to go to Port Osmos, climb the nearest hill and activate the fast travel point. If you’ve already been here, just teleport to the area marked on the map. The grave is nearby.
Last Sanctuary located next to Dahri ruins.
To get here, quickly travel to a nearby hill and then slide down.
