Larian Studios shared Klein Nieuws about the development of her next competitions afterwards Baldur’s Gate 3. The head of the Swen Vincke studio in a recent interview said that the company is working on two ambitious projects, and although the details have not yet been announced, their development is already actively underway. He emphasized that the projects are very complex and require a lot of effort, because the games of Larian Studios are known for their deep interaction with players and many possible options for the development of events.

He added that the studio opened a new unit in Warsaw to help with development, with which you can work on two games at the same time, but this creates his difficulties in the organization. The complexity of these projects has a significant influence on the conditions of their completion and that is why it is difficult to accurately predict when the games are ready.
As for Baldur’s Gate 3, the eighth patch was the last major update of the game, after which the studio will concentrate on his new projects.
At the same time, Wizards of the Coast (possesses the rights to Dungeons & Dragons) now that whoever will be the next continuation of Baldur’s Gate, who, according to them, will also be developed, but most likely not in the near future to prevent hasty comparisons with the success of Baldur’s Gate 3.
