We can say many contradictory things about the “One Last of Us” series (The Last of Us), but people could not take it alone – the project was able to attract attention and for a long time remained at the point of view of both gamers and ordinary spectators. The show that was released on the first part of the same name, the show more or less accurately demonstrated all the main plot turns of the original and therefore ended with an incredibly powerful cliffhanger. This gave rise to a wave of negativity on the internet, as well as a lot of apologies, explanations and detailed analysis why a bloated unsympathetic woman with mental problems is the only possible version of Abby.
Literally from the first seconds of the show, all logically built theories, as well as the incredibly smart reasoning of the Neil Druckmann) and the fans of his vision, which Abby shows, simply and very nicely, are worn into lint. It turned out that everything is possible. Well … everyone will draw conclusions here for themselves. We certainly did it.

If you remember the start of the game, you know it all started with Joel’s story to his brother Tommy about the decision. This is a very short moment that is very important. He shows that the brothers came close in recent times. Joel absolutely trusts Tommy and knows that his secret will not be revealed.
Looking at the first season ‘One of us?
There is nothing similar in the series. A similar conversation takes place, but not Joel’s brother is involved, but an incomprehensible female psychologist, to whom the old smuggler periodically, pay time for “forbidden”. At the same time everything looks like a terrible mix of comedy and drama, and even chaotic. It seems that Joel shot her husband in the first season, whom she will say a whole sentence, but let’s clean – nobody remembers what the character was. As a result, the scene is stupid, emotional and just takes time. If this is what the makers implied when they talked about the expansion of history, we don’t even know what to wait for.
Nevertheless, Pedro Pascal (José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal) is beautiful. This is one hundred percent the same Joel. He also looks like, and in general an example of an excellent adjustment of the game character in the photo with living actors, albeit multi -partial, behaves too.
Unfortunately, all this does not apply to Ellie. We don’t know how, but the screenwriters managed to make her even more disgusting than she was in the game. The essence of the Last of US 2 was that the player in theory empathizes with both Abby and Ellie. Both girls lost loved ones, acted incorrect and damage to people. In the game, however, it was Ellie who aroused more sympathy. She was calmer (in the beginning – in the beginning), took revenge for Joel furious, but to my best power. It was a beautiful girl who had to become a butcher.
In the series everything seems to be the other way around. Ellie furious. And in absolute every scene. And there seem to be many moments that just repeat the source. And the sentences are sometimes one on one, but here are the accents … the accents are very different. It seems that the influence of acting of Bella May Ramsey) is the influence of the acting game. At the start of the last of us 2, Dina and Ellie are sent to the patrol. They must investigate the area, collect supplies, the infected dead as much as it turns out. Despite all the jokes and childishness of the girls, this is exactly what they are busy. At the same time, they do their work carefully and wise.
In the series, the girls go as part of the group and first of all ignore the captain of the detachment, after they have gone into a self -wolf. What for? Apparently, to emphasize the senior personality of heroines and the full absence of brain again.
In the game, Joel emphasizes that Ellie helps everyone in the settlement, loving many and her prizes. In the series the girl annoys more and others and it constantly shows that she has a number of special privileges. This gives rise to an interesting conflict that was not in the original.
The reasons for the argument of the smugglers and his adopted daughter have not yet been revealed to us, but they showed his excessive custody. In the game she looked like an attempt to make it right. In the series, on the other hand, Ellie allows himself so much because he knows that Joel is always lagging behind. But when he still helps her, instead of gratitude, he shouts at him.
In general, emotions are rather negative in the first series so far. Ellie should become the main character of the second season. To Abby, the plot only returns to the third. If the photo does not change, we will find an extremely controversial adjustment that will clearly reproduce the original in form, but to miss its essence. It is not a fact that the success of the first season can repeat again.
From the pleasant details you can distinguish a variety of Easter cards – Ellie’s knife, her diary, entourage of rooms, the same guitar, tattoo and costumes. The scene of the kiss (you know who with whom) is generally simulated one to one, even movements. In general, the work is done on a large scale, it is just a shame that there is much less sincerity.
