The presentation of the Future Games Show hosted a demonstration of the first gameplay of the Polish RPG from the first person Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. The video turned out to be quite short – in it you can see the real graphics of the game, a bleak open world, a combat system and a dialogue with one of the characters.
The project is based on the board game of the same name, which is a dark reimagining of King Arthur’s legends. The plot tells of the events that took place on the cursed island of Avalon, infested with a mysterious force that chaotically distorts reality. The world is filled with non-linear quests with consequences of choice, places of interest and cruel monsters.
The game will be released on Steam Early Access in Q4 2022.
