The “Yandex” company has become the new owner of rights to Comic-Son and Igomir, reports Kommersant. Festivals will return to the fall of 2025.
According to Fedresurs, the rights to trademarks Gamemir, Comicon, Comicon and Comiccon were purchased for more than 40 million rubles. The previous owner represented by Krey LLC was declared bankrupt.
Conversation partners of the Kommersant newspaper are of the opinion that the most important participants will be in the coming festivals Atomic Heart and Projects on the Fantasy Novel “Diamond Sword, Wooden Sword” by Nika Perumov.
“Now we will start forming a festival program, negotiating with partners, content manufacturers, companies and sponsors,” said the Yandex Press Service.
