Neverwinter Nights has been around for over 20 years thanks to a dedicated community. This time, BioWare’s critically acclaimed RPG received a major update that brought over 100 fixes and improvements to the Enhanced Edition.

A group of modders have released a major patch, which publisher Beamdog has officially included in the isometric game. There are over a hundred changes listed in the notes, so the most important ones are listed below:

  • Fixed network code;
  • Improved gaming performance;
  • Added support for anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering;
  • The script compiler of the open source version has been improved;
  • Improved gameplay with new tools.

Let us remind you that the last time such a major update was released was in 2021. Subsequently, the expansion added HD models of characters and equipment, as well as improved textures. However, the patch proved problematic for weak PCs.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is a re-release of the original 2002 game with additions Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark and Kingmaker. The release took place in 2018.

Previously, another group of enthusiasts released a beta version of the mod for Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which returns the content from E3 2019.
