Creator Dead Space Glen Schofield said he’s ready to make another game in the universe. The developer talked about this a few days after the 16th anniversary of the first part.

In recent years, Scofield has been working on horror films. The Callisto Protocol in Striking Distance’s own studio. The spiritual successor to Dead Space disappointed publisher Krafton, after which Scofield left the team. According to the author, his departure is due to health problems: he is now actively engaged in sports and has lost almost 40 kilograms of weight.
Unfortunately, the development of the Dead Space series is still up for debate. The recent EA Motive remake showed poor sales, resulting in the development of a new feature not being approved.
