How to participate in the Secret War event
To access the event you must meet a number of conditions:
- Reach adventure rank 25.
- Complete the quest chain “Prologue: Act III. Song of the Dragon’s Freedom.
- Complete Dilyuk’s Legends quest “Alibi of the Midnight Hero” (optional).

Challenge Tips

Enter the following conditions for difficulty:
- Activate the “Melt” or “Steam” responses 12 times.

You need at least one Pyro element hero for this quest. If you don’t have strong characters, take Xiang Ling on your team. This hero is available to almost all Genshin Impact players.
Since you will encounter slime, abyssal mages and hilichurls with cryo elements, with the help of Xiang Ling you will have no problem meeting the first requirement. To do this, use the hero’s elemental ability and also collect enough energy to use the Elemental Burst. Attack all Cryo enemies with fire and create “melting” effects.
