Sony has announced the release of a major update for the PlayStation 5 – so far it’s only available to a few beta testers. A full release of the firmware will take place later this year.
The update adds several new features, including support for 1440p resolution. VRR technology doesn’t support this format yet – only 1080p and 4K.

In the library you can now create folders that will hang above the main list. In total, the system allows you to create 15 folders with 100 games each.

In the settings it became possible to compare the difference between three-dimensional sound and stereo.

In addition, the firmware has added new social features that make it easier to interact with other players. A list of all changes can be viewed on the PlayStation Blog.
Recall that Sony previously introduced the PlayStation Stars loyalty program, which rewards players for their activity.🌳 The developer shared Terraria gameplay in 3D
