It looks like fans won’t be seeing the remake anytime soon. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, development has been suspended indefinitely due to the poor quality of the game.
On June 30, Aspyr completed a demo of the game, known as a “vertical cut,” but partners Lucasfilm and Sony were disappointed with what they saw. A few days later, the company fired design director Brad Prince (Brad Prince) and art director Jason Minor (Jason Minor) – for the latter it was a big surprise.
One of Schreier’s sources suggested that management didn’t like how much time and money went into the vertical lowering. Aspyr originally promised to release the game by the end of 2022, but now a more plausible release date is 2025.
Perhaps the development of the game will be completely entrusted to Saber Interactive, who have been helping with the game for a few months.
Knights of the Old Republic is said to be one of the first Star Wars games not released by Electronic Arts. Keep in mind that the company has the exclusive rights to release franchise games, but the deal will expire in 2023.🌳 The developer shared Terraria’s gameplay in 3D
