Guide to weapon crafting in Wuthering Waves

Nowadays you can create weapons of different degrees of rarity. Equipment other than food cannot be created.

Once you arrive in Jinzhou City, explore it and find Uncle Wei’s shop. It’s located in the top right corner of the city when you look at the map. Wei sells ready-made equipment, as well as materials for crafting.

There is no point in paying attention to completed weapons, because their rarity varies from 1 to 2 stars. But the materials will be useful for more advanced options. At the moment, Wei’s range is limited, so once you buy everything the master has to offer, you’ll run out of goods. This will probably be resolved in the future.

Behind Wei there is a large screen – this is the panel that provides access to weapon creation. Once you activate it, you will see all available recipes, the amount of materials required and the creation costs. A 3-star weapon will require you to spend 10,000 local currency, while a 4-star weapon will require 150,000.

Up until now, crafting weapons requires two main raw materials: Indigoite and Scarletthorn. All deposits can be viewed on the interactive map, but in general they are not far from Jinzhou. For example, Indigoit is located east of the city, north near the Central Plains, and also south of Whining Aix’s Mire.

Deep red thorns are a little harder to find. They will be northeast of the city, and also southeast of the Swamp of Howling Ex.

The second important resource is the so-called weapon molds. They drop as a reward from weekly bosses. Open the guide and find the weekly challenge. You can receive these forms a maximum of three times a week, so you cannot collect a large amount at once.

Since the game was recently released, the list of craftable weapons is small. 4-star ratings include:

Broad sword — attack: 33-413; energy recovery: 7.2%-32.4%. Although the owner’s health is above 80%, his attack power increases by 12%. When health drops below 40%, it is restored by 5% when you deal damage with normal or heavy hits. This effect can be activated once every 8 seconds. Suitable for the character Taoqi.

Mittens — attack: 31-388; energy recovery: 8.64%-38.88%. When running or dodging, attack is increased by 8%. Increases counterattack damage by 50%. The bonus lasts 8 seconds. When performing a counterattack, health is restored by 5%. This effect is activated once every 6 seconds. Suitable for the character Jianxin.

Pistols — attack: 31-388; attack power: 8.1%-36.45%. Although the wearer takes no damage, his attack power increases by 6% every 5 seconds (up to 2 stacks). This bonus lasts 8 seconds. Taking damage reduces the number of buffs by 1, but restores health by 5%. Suitable for the character Chixia.

3-star weapons include:

Sword — attack: 24-300; health: 6.75% -30.38%. Resonance skill damage increases by 12%. Suitable for Danjin and Yangyang characters.

Inverter — attack: 26-325; attack power: 5.4%-24.3%. Damage from basic and heavy attacks is increased by 12%. Suitable for the Encore character.

Pistols — attack: 24-300; attack power: 6.75%-30.38%. Resonance skill damage increases by 12%. Fitting with Chixia’s character.

Mittens — attack: 24-300; defense: 8.55%-38.48%. Resonance Release damage increased by 12%. Suitable for characters Jian Xin and Yuanwu.

Broad sword — attack: 26-325; attack power: 5.4%-24.3%. The damage bonus for basic and heavy attacks has been increased by 12%. Suitable for characters Jiyan and Calcharo.
