Ubisoft announced a shareware mobile shooter in the universe Tom Clancy’s The Division subtitled Resurgence. The game will have a large, well-developed open world and an original story campaign, and will be comparable in amount and quality of content to AAA projects.
Resurgence events will unfold from the first part in New York, immediately after the onset of the global pandemic. The main character will be a member of an elite squad, one of the first to be sent to the infected city. In terms of gameplay, the game will be similar to the main parts of the series – gamers will have to compete against factions that want to conquer New York that is plunged into chaos. The Resurgence campaign can be played solo or in co-op.
Ubisoft did not give a release date for the shooter, but launched the official website and opened the call for registration to participate in the upcoming closed alpha test.
