The Redanian Intelligence portal, which regularly shares truthful information about the Witcher series, talked about how the writers of the fourth season can introduce a new Geralt. Let us remind you that the lead actor Henry Cavill left the show, and now the monster hunter is played by Liam Hemsworth.
Netflix recently showed a video reading of the script for the fourth season, in which all the main actors appeared. Among them were Serrana Su-Ling Bliss and Clive Russell, who play the sorceress Nimue and the wandering storyteller Stribog. With their help, Netflix can explain the dramatic changes in Geralt’s appearance.

Nimue is the Lady of the Lake, born many decades after the story of Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri. During her time, the White Wolf became a legend, and many stories of his adventures spread across the continent. There are many versions of this story, which differ not only in the events described, but also in the appearance of the characters.
In the first three seasons we watched a story where Geralt looked like Henry Cavill. In the sequel, we are introduced to a new interpretation, according to which the Witcher resembled Liam Hemsworth. Redanian Intelligence suggests that we’ll see a scene with Stribog and Nimue at the start of the fourth season, which will reintroduce Geralt of Rivia.
The premiere date for the fourth season is unknown, but it appears the show will premiere in 2025. Netflix previously officially confirmed that the fifth season of The Witcher will be the last.
