Lead Quest Designer Cyberpunk 2077 and expansions Phantom Liberty Paweł Sasko said that the studio has no plans to release its future games early. According to him, this is “difficult to implement.”
PC Gamer asked the developer if CD Projekt RED wants to avoid failures such as the release of Cyberpunk 2077 in the future by releasing the game early, following the example of Larian Studios. Pavel Sasko replied negatively:
“Not all early access games are successful… [Larian Studios] probably the first to really achieve such success,” argued the designer of the quest.

According to him, Baldur’s Gate 3 was a unique situation, influenced by the series’ large fan base and the skills of its authors Divinity: original sin. As Pavel Sasko noted, commenting on the possibility of early access, “this is actually difficult to implement.”
CD Projekt RED itself plans to simply spend time tracking down existing bugs in the late stages of development.

Let’s not forget that not too long ago one of the main writers of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty add-on left the studio.
