Polish studio Mighty Koi, which includes veterans from CD Projekt RED, FromSoftware and Ubisoft, has announced two new games at once. This post contains the first trailers and details.

Thorgal is an action-adventure game with RPG elements, based on the comic book series of the same name. The plot revolves around a Viking warrior with mysterious origins who was found in a space capsule as a child. The hero will face many enemies, including the Scandinavian gods.

The second project will be The Night Wanderer, an adaptation of the science fiction series “Lord of the Ice Garden” by Jaroslaw Grzedowicz. The game follows elite soldier Vuko Drakkainen, who arrives on a mission to the alien planet Midgaard, reminiscent of medieval Scandinavia. The planet is surrounded by background radiation that destroys all advanced technology, so the hero must take off his space suit and put on armor.

In terms of gameplay, we are waiting for a hybrid of soulslick, role-playing game and metroidvania. The developers promise dynamic yet tactical gameplay, as well as a fascinating storyline.

Both projects were created based on Unreal Engine 5 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Nothing is known yet about the release date.
