Each companion in the game has random traits and skills. However, few people know that Palworld has a number of legendary friends, each of which is of special value. Legendary fells are distinguished by the presence of special passive buffs that cannot be found in other creatures. In the guide we will see where to find them all.
Which friends are legendary?
Friends differ in abilities, elements and average level from representatives of the same species. However, few people are aware of the existence of four ‘legendary’ companions that can be caught late in the game. This includes the following fires:
- Paladius;
- Necromus;
- Frostallion;
- Jetragon.
These companions differ from regular companions in the additional passive ability “Legend”, which is unique to these creatures. The skill improves firefighters’ attributes, increasing movement and flying speed by 15% and increasing attack and defense by 20%. That makes them serious opponents for players of all levels and the most sought-after companions at every stage of the game.

Additionally, legendary creatures are guaranteed to have a passive ability appropriate to their type. This skill increases the effectiveness of their active skills that use the same element, further improving their combat skills. Let’s take a closer look at where to find each friend from the proposed list.
Where can you find Paladius and Necromus?
Paladius and Necromus are a pair of legendary knights found in a specific location in Palworld. They are difficult to fight, but can be extremely powerful allies if you manage to capture them. To find them, you need to go to the desert area in the northeastern part of the map, near the fast travel point at Vigilant Tower.
Despite their titles and possible rivalry, the two knights are not enemies. If you challenge either knight, they will both attack immediately. This means you have to fight two bosses at the same time. So prepare for a serious fight and make sure your companions have reached maximum level. We recommend bringing a dark-type elemental companion to fight Paladius, a level 50 neutral-type boss, and a strong dragon to fight Necromus, a level 50 dark-type boss.

In Early Access, the world’s backstory is sparsely detailed, but Paldek hints at a close connection between these bosses. They look the same and replicate the skills used at the base. Each of them has level 2 logging and mining, but this is not the strong suit of these friends. Paladius has increased movement speed, triple jump, and better defense. Necromus, on the other hand, reaches speeds up to 1500 and has an increased attack speed, but only has two jumps.
When defeated or captured, they can be used to obtain palanium bars, diamonds, and large palal souls. The duo has a high crossbreeding rate, so they can only be bred by crossing plants of the same species.
Where can you find Frostallion?
Frostallion is a level 50 legendary world boss with an ice element that can be found east of the Genetic Research Squad Tower. He has the Level 4 Refrigeration skill, which is useful when operating a refrigerator to preserve the shelf life of food or a cooler to lower the temperature within a 50-foot radius. Frostallion is also one of the fastest to assemble pets in the game. When captured or defeated, he drops ice organs and diamonds. At max level it has an ice block attack with a base damage of 130.

There is a variant of this creature called Frostallion Noct. He does not have the Legend ability, but he can acquire it by breeding with the original boss. Can be obtained by crossing Frostallion and Halzephyr.
Where to find Jetragon
Jetragon is one of the four legendary pets in the Palov world, and perhaps the best of them all. Jetragon is also the fastest flying pet in Palworld. However, to craft his saddle, you must be at least level 50.
In addition to the ability to fly, Jetragon is an excellent combat animal and is equipped with firearms that deal massive area damage. His Dragon attribute makes him an excellent foil for all dark friends. It also has the Level 3 Gathering skill and can only be used in the base to gather resources.

Jetragon is found in the northwestern part of the volcano, east of Palpagos Island. If you plan on fighting him, you’ll need heat-resistant armor. It’s also useful to have a fast flying mount that allows you to easily navigate the area and close the distance between the Brotherhood of the Eternal Flame tower and the boss fight.
