Where to find and how to unlock talismans
Talismans are the secondary equipment of a high-level hero and provide additional bonuses for various class skills. Unlike any other equipment you can find in the game, amulets are divided into classes. This means that the dropped amulet may not suit your character.

Talismans can be found from the beginning of the game, but you can’t put them on right away. To access the amulets, you need to pump up to level 56. Once you unlock the Realm of Damnation area, you can equip the available charms in your character’s inventory.
Here are a few ways to get talismans for your hero:
- Bonus Rewards: you can get amulets as rewards for completing missions. Unfortunately, there is a restriction on the execution of such orders. In total you can complete 8 contracts per day, but you are unlikely to receive a talisman even for completing half the orders.
- Battle Pass Rewards: In the current Battle Pass, you can get four talismans at once for reaching level 16, as well as the same number for reaching level 36. These talismans are part of the free Battle Pass, so there is no need to purchase premium BP access to buy.
- Ephesus Collector: you have the right to buy three talismans per week from the Hilt Collector for 100 units each. You can also try to get charms in the ‘Limited time’ section of the same merchant. But since this is a random daily occurrence, you are unlikely to get a talisman.
- Rewards for Daily Activities: Earn a certain number of Battle Points in the Codex menu every day and receive a random Talisman every day.
How to upgrade talismans
As we noted earlier, each of the talismans belongs to a certain class, so it is important to find the necessary amulet. Even an ordinary talisman for your class will suffice, as it still needs to be upgraded to unlock the item’s full potential and gain additional bonuses. It makes no sense to make such a request to the blacksmith, because he is not engaged in the modernization of amulets. To do this, you need to find a special one mascot seller (charming craftsman).

How to upgrade talismans
Go to Rix Square in Westmark. In the southern part of the square, next to the main NPC, you’ll find an amulet seller. It provides services for: collection improvement extraction and stuffing Equivalent products.
First you need to start collecting (Salvagen) unnecessary talismans. Select all the extra amulets in your inventory and exchange them for alchemical powder at the seller. Each normal charm will give you 10 units of a similar powder.

Here’s a little reminder for upgrading the talisman:
- Each upgrade unlocks a bonus for a random skill. You can unlock up to 5 bonuses;
- Each Talisman upgrade costs 20 Alchemy Powder. A full upgrade of the amulet will cost you 100 units of powder;
- When upgrading an amulet, you can get a bonus for a skill that does not affect the development of your class.
Why do we need “Extraction” and “Filling” of talismans. How to buy and use the Skill Stone?
It sounds absurd, but with the improvement of the talisman you will certainly receive a bonus to the skill, which will in no way affect the development of your hero. For example, a small percentage of the Vitality ability, which is so important to the Necromancer class, can appear when upgrading the amulet for the Barbarian class. Therefore, the talisman dealer offers two more services: “Extraction” and “Filling” But even here everything is not so simple.

- You can only extract or fill talismans from level 5 of improvement;
- If you have a level 5 amulet, you can get all the skills from it;
- When you extract the bonus, you change the amulet into the so-called Skill Stone It is used to replace a certain bonus box in the required amulet;
- After you fill the amulet with a skill stone, only one of the five bonuses remains – random. This means you have a 20% chance of getting the desired upgrade for your talisman.

Please note that you cannot use the amulet to exchange for alchemy powder after upgrading. This is the only item in Diablo Immortal that works this way. A random modifier is also applied to replace a skill bonus with a skill tile improvement: +2%, +4%, +6%, +8%, or +10%.
Here are the chances of getting each skill bonus modifier when using a skill marker on a district:
- +2% Bonus: 75%
- +4% Bonus: 19.5%
- +6% Bonus: 4%
- +8% Bonus: 1%
- +10% Bonus: 0.5%
There is another way to get a skill stone to upgrade talismans. You can buy it in the market for platinum. In this case, you choose ready-made bonuses for your amulet yourself, but when you fill it, only one remains.
