In this guide we have collected all the necessary information that will help you quickly get used to the world of Palov.

Once in the open world, you may be faced with an obvious problem: where exactly to build a base. The game doesn’t explain in any way whether location is affected by proximity to water and resources, but you still have to choose wisely. The location for the base is determined depending on where you place the Pal container. There can only be one and it is considered the center of the area you want to inhabit.

Since Palworld is essentially a survivor, upon death you lose all collected resources. The bag with them will remain at the place of death, and sometimes it is not easy to get there. The most important tip for setting up a base is to build next to the fast travel image. When you open the map you will come across statues.

Activating them allows you to quickly switch between the two, but only if you interact with one of the already active ones. It makes sense that you don’t want to waste extra minutes getting to the nearest statue, so it’s better if the base is relatively close. Otherwise, the location for the arrangement does not matter.

By default, the character can speed up his run a little, but only within the limits of his available stamina. By pumping up the desired parameter, you increase the time. As we said above, do not be lazy to activate the images. Only this allows you to instantly teleport over already explored territory.

There is another way to speed up your character, but it only opens up after some leveling. Each type of Palov can do something different. There are also those that can be used as support. However, keep in mind that each friend has their own speed, so if you ride the local boar you will still be slower than if you ride a wolf.

Take the time to study a standard parachute. This allows you to slide down high cliffs, but only as long as you have stamina. Some friends can replace a parachute and become an analogue of a glider. Selarai for example.

Important clarification: To unlock all of the Pals’ abilities, including horse riding, you must first research the equipment workshop for the Pals in the technology menu, and then the improvement for a specific type of animal. To do this, you must constantly increase the level of the hero.

“Encyclopedia of Palov” will help you figure out what exactly this or that kind of creature can do. It is important to find friends who can carry out work on the base without your direct participation, otherwise the replenishment of resources will slow down.

Stone and wood can be collected by attacking the corresponding objects. The character automatically selects resources. Over time you will have enough for a container for Pals, and then a primitive workbench. On the latter you can make various tools that accelerate the extraction of resources: a pickaxe and an axe.

Every item, building and tool has durability. The more you use something, the faster its strength decreases. Fortunately, everything can be repaired if you open the repair table and collect enough ingredients.

Absolutely any creature you meet along the way can become part of the collection and become a potential worker or fighter. To catch you you need spheres, which you can make on the workbench. However, simply throwing a ball at your favorite animal is not enough. When you aim the orb, you will see the percentage chance of the creature being caught. You can increase the indicator if you weaken Pal by fighting him. It is important to take away as much health as possible, but not kill it. However, catching a catch without damage is also possible, there is a certain probability.

There is an exception here. For particularly strong and large friends, an ordinary ball is not sufficient. They need an upgraded version, which you unlock at level 14.

Captured Pals must be taken to the Pal container on base. There they can replenish their health. Here you can distribute the found creatures to work. The friends will independently find something to do depending on their skills and will collect resources within your territory.

In the same container you will see the tasks that need to be completed to increase the level of the base. The higher it is, the greater the number of Pals that can be sent to work. Tasks usually involve the construction of certain infrastructure buildings, so you can quickly get everything you need.

Friends have needs: hunger and sanity. In order for them to perform well in their responsibilities, you will need to solve these two problems. Research and build a feeder, and put enough food in it (any food will do). The fires will feed themselves. Also build beds for the creatures. If there is no place for one of the animals, he will become upset, which will affect the work.

Finally, keep an eye on their mood. Some friends may experience illness, fatigue, depression and more. You can improve their mood if you build a hot spring, but it won’t open right away. A universal treatment is to send Pal to storage and replace him with someone else. Over time, the beast’s performance will improve and it will be available again. The same goes for death. If Pal is killed in battle, he can be revived in a container by placing him in storage.

You can participate in battles in two ways: in person and through Pals. In the first case you need a weapon. At first it will be a club, but soon you will open a bow and different types of arrows. Keep in mind that different arrows are suitable for different bows, so loading a regular arrow with poisonous projectiles will not work; you need to study and create a special poisonous bow.

You can activate Pal with the one you have in your hand. You can view them in the ‘My friends’ section. You can give commands to the creature – do not be lazy to find this button. Pal can attack all enemy targets, just yours, or not participate in the battle at all. If you’re trying to capture a powerful creature, it’s important to get Pal out of the fight before he completes his target.

In cases where the forces are unequal, it would be right to bring several friends with good combat skills. If one dies, you can activate the next and then revive them all at the base.

All Pals swing independently, even when working on the base. However, the maximum level for them is the player level. Each creature has attributes: attack, defense, speed and maximum health. in the open world you can find monuments of power. With their help, your ability to catch friends improves, as well as the characteristics of creatures.

Progress will require special resources. Look for green lights in the open world on Pal statues. Each improvement requires an increasing number of statues. With the Pals it’s a little easier: you need the souls of the Pals. You can collect them from killed enemies, bosses or chests.

Over time, you can build a monument of power at its base, but this will require points of ancient technologies.

Your main task is to defeat the most experienced Palov trainers.

They wait in the towers indicated on the map. However, these are not the only bosses in the game. Special creatures are also shown on the map. You can’t tame them, but if you win you’ll receive ancient technology points.

Palov eggs can be found in the open world. They need an incubator to hatch. Leave the egg inside and after a while you will get a new creature of the first level.
