Palworld players not only catch friends and assign them jobs but also monitor their health. When a creature suffers a fracture or illness, its performance drops. While it is possible to replace a sick pal with another, rare boss animals deserve immediate care. This guide explains how to heal a fire pal and which tools are needed to treat it.
Palworld Guides
Every few days the camp faces attacks from various threats, from poachers to high level fires, so pets can be injured. It is essential to know which illnesses can be treated without medicine and which require medical attention.
What are the types of wounds and how can a fallen pal be revived?
If after a raid some tame creatures are injured, they can be placed in a Pal Container or sent to a Pal Bed to rest. Over time the creature regains strength and the wound heals on its own. Injuries come in several forms:
- Minor injury;
- Serious injury.
Placing the pala in a container is recommended and helps not only to heal the wound but also to restore the creature’s sanity and remove the Exhausted status.
Remark: Other purple marked conditions cannot be cured with this method.
How to cure colds and joints
To craft all medicines in the game, the player must reach hero level 12 and unlock the blueprint “Medieval apothecary table” in the Technology section. To craft it, the following materials are required:
- Wood (30);
- Nagel (5);
- Palsium shard (10).
From this point, various remedies useful for animal treatment can be produced.
Palworld features a curious distribution of drugs by disease, but players work with what is available. Cold and joint ailments can be treated with a single medicine: low quality medicines.
Remark: Most medicines can be purchased from traveling merchants for gold. However, making them at the base is typically easier and cheaper.
If there is no trouble with berries, the horn can be obtained by catching or defeating certain hills:
- Capriti;
- Iktirdir;
- Incineration installations;
- Incineres Noct;
- Arsox;
- Univolt.
There are likely other creatures that provide a horn, but these will be enough to begin with.
How to heal ulcers, fractures and dislocations
Healing requires buying or crafting Medicines. These look like pills, and the resources needed to make them are listed below:
- Rashoah;
- Cognito;
- Vanwyrm.
As noted earlier, finding horns was covered in the previous section. For bones, a specific fire pal must be caught or killed:
- Rashoah;
- Cognito;
- Vanwyrm.
How to cure weakness and depression
Quality medicines are needed, bought from a traveling merchant or prepared at the pharmacist’s table. The recipe is straightforward and previously described resources will be sufficient.
How to give medicine to Palu
Pals medicines are consumed much like regular food. If an injured or sick creature works at the base, approach it, press the number 4 on the keyboard, and choose Feed. Administer the medicine and the status will clear immediately.
You can also drag the friend into the inventory, then right-click the medicine and select the target creature.
What types of fires know how to make medicine?
<pMedicine making is a lengthy task. It is advised not to leave the pal at the base as an employee; instead keep one with the player. If needed, release the pal at the pharmacist’s desk and wait for the process to finish.
Suitable for medicine production:
- Lifmank — a starting animal obtained at the very beginning of the game;
- Bristles — inhabits forests and is capable of sowing seeds, harvesting crops, and performing tasks;
- Sinnamos — lives in the mountains and can plant crops and craft medicines;
- Robinville;
- Lovander — a very useful creature that often raids the camp in herds;
- Petalia;
- Felbat — a boss in the northwest map region; it can also become an indispensable companion and help in medicine production.
