Studio Remedy, known for the series Max Payne, Alan Wake and Control, was unexpectedly sued over a new logo. The plaintiff was Take-Two Interactive, which believes the logo is too similar to the Rockstar emblem.

The company is trying to change the sign because users might confuse Remedy with Rockstar. The claim is quite strange: both studios use a stylized letter R as their logo.

Curiously, this is the second such case for Remedy. In 1998, the developers had to change the first logo because it looked too similar to the LucasArts logo.

Let us remind you that Remedy released the long-awaited horror in the fall Alan Wake 2 – you can read the review here. The studio is currently working on a sequel to The Mystical Control, remakes of the first parts Max Payne and some sort of multiplayer project.
