New news about the game has appeared on the network STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl from the studio GSC Game Worldthat fans loathed.
At the end of the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, Microsoft showed an image of 50 titles coming to Xbox and PC over the next 12 months. In this list of games is the shooter “STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl”, created by developers at GSC Game World. At the same time, the game STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was in the section of games coming out in 2023. For example, Microsoft officially confirmed the next postponement of GSC Game World’s new shooter to a later date, which annoyed many fans.
Until now, the release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was scheduled for December 8, 2022. Now the release of the project has been postponed, but there is no specific date yet. The reasons for the transfer are also not reported, however it is quite clear that the release has been moved due to the fact that the developers have not worked on the game for some time. Employees of the GSC Game World studio moved from Ukraine to another country – the Czech Republic. It was only in the second half of May that the authors of “STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl” said that the development of the game is continuing.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is now slated for release in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series S|X. Of course, the game will be released in the first half of 2023. In Russia, the shooter “STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl” will not be available, because the developers refused to release the game on the territory of the Russian Federation. All pre-orders for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl made by Russian players have been cancelled.
