Developers of the global mod True Stalker for “Call of Pripyat” added tools to the game that are familiar to all fans of the series. Finding them will not only earn you good money, but also give you the opportunity to upgrade your weapons and equipment. In this guide we’ll tell you how to find tools for rough work, fine work and calibration.

This set of tools can be found almost from the very beginning of the game, but before that we recommend going through the series of story missions to access a dialogue with the technician. The fact is that Mikhalych will refuse to talk to the hero until you achieve the task “Nothing changes.”

Run along the road to the territory of the ATP, where the bandits have settled. You shouldn’t go there – go around it on the right and look for a yellow bus. Climb onto the barrels and grab the tools on the ground. In some cases you may need to hold down the “Ctrl+X” keys to do this.

The next set is a little more difficult to obtain: it is located in the tunnel behind the depot. Before going to the marked area, you should prepare and purchase an optical sight. There are several groups of bandits in front of and in the tunnel itself. They will attack from afar and can deal with you easily. We recommend that you return here after completing the quest “An Unusual Request”, as in this tunnel you will receive the key to the bandit cache and can pick it up at the same time detector “Veles”.

Go to the end of the tunnel and at the fork you will find the entrance to a small room. The tools are on the bottom shelf of the table, to the left of the entrance.

Complete all story missions in Chapter 2 to unlock Dark Valley. If it’s your first time here, you can start looking for tools almost immediately. All you have to do is fight a pack of monsters and avoid all the anomalies.

Run to the entrance of the bandit base, but turn right after refueling. Behind it are three large tanks – you need to climb up and find a hole in one of them. The desired set is waiting for you there.

Return all three sets to Mikhalych to unlock additional upgrades and also earn some extra money.
