Nowadays major publishers hold their own conferences. Thus, at State of Play we can see unreleased games for Sony devices – PlayStation 5 and PS VR 2. Among the projects presented are both exclusive and multi-platform projects. We talked about the most interesting premieres of the presentation in this article.
Baby steps

The first game was Baby Steps, a walking simulator with strange, tricky physics. Apparently it won’t even be easy to stay on level ground here. And we will have to overcome difficult obstacles. Release date: summer 2024.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord

A game based on the Ghostbusters film series for PS VR 2. You have to choose equipment, customize weapons and trap aggressive ghosts. The look of the project is reminiscent of the hand-drawn style of Borderlands. The release will take place on October 26.
Additions to Resident Evil 4 Remake

Three DLCs have been announced for remake of Resident Evil 4. First – VR mode for Sony virtual reality helmet. It will be released this winter. The second addition is Separate Ways, a mini-campaign for Ada Wong, which complements the plot of the main game. It was available in the original PS2 version Resident Evil 4. Released September 21st. The third DLC will be released on the same day: Mercenaries, a series of arena challenges.
Will you play the expansion as Ada Wong?
Avatar: Borders of Pandora

The official game based on James Cameron’s Avatar duology has a colorful gameplay trailer. We are waiting for a powerful action in the open world with active use of the local fauna. Release date: December 7.
Ghost runner 2

Sequel to cyberpunk action Ghostrunner has received a new dynamic trailer. This is a great option for those who find the addition not enough Phantom freedom for Cyberpunk 2077. The game reminded me a bit of a good shooter Syndicate 2012. Release date: October 26, 2023, but the demo is available today.
Hell divers 2

The first Helldivers was a third-person action/strategy hybrid that pitted us against space bugs. The second part promises to be more beautiful and varied. The game resembles an interactive version of the movie Starship Troopers. Release date: February 8, 2024.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

In the trailer the second “Spider-Man” showed us how switching between Miles Morales and Peter Parker would work, as well as the gameplay for Venom. Additionally, we saw several additional activities in the form of collecting collectibles and the ability to customize heroes. In particular, as many as 65 costumes are waiting for us, which is much more than in first part. Release on October 20, 2023.
Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn

The announcement of the Beyond the Dawn add-on for Stories about the origins. Let us remind you that the original game is a high-quality jRPG with characteristic hand-drawn graphics reminiscent of Japanese cartoons. The DLC for this will be released on November 9.
Foam stars

In the gameplay trailer for the arena shooter Foamstars, we saw the different abilities of the game’s heroes. These include shooting foam and bubbles, as well as moving quickly around the location using skateboards and giant balls. The closest analogue is the series Splatoon. The open beta test starts on September 29.
Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth

In the trailer In the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake, we saw the use of vehicles in the game. Among them are flying birds, hoverboards, cars and of course chocobos, one of the main symbols of the series. In addition, we got to see well-known characters and villains, as well as battles with huge bosses. Let us remind you that the remake of the seventh Final Fantasy was divided into three games. The second will be released on February 29, 2024.
