Polish studio Sonka SA has released a demo version of Holstin, a psychological horror in the vein of dark wood, Signalis and the latest episodes of Resident Evil. The game takes place in a gloomy city, whose inhabitants started to go mad.

In Holstin, players must find Batrek’s missing friend who has stopped communicating. They will realize very quickly that something sinister has conquered the city and most of the townspeople have turned into monsters.

Developers are most proud of pixel art “new level” with dynamic lighting and a system that allows you to rotate the camera freely. At the same time, judging by the comments below the latest trailer, the players especially enjoyed the battles with the third-person camera.
