Thaya’s Necromancy Book is a mission item that allows you to gain extra skills and improve your stats. You can find it in Extinct Village, in the basement of the pharmacy. Coordinates – 39, 382. We marked the exact location of the desired house on the map.
The house you need is to the left of the main entrance to the settlement. Open the double doors and go inside.
On the floor near the display case is a hatch that leads to the basement – you’ll need it.
Your goal is the closet in the far left corner of the room. Approach it and break the boxes that are on the left. This way you can pull the lever and open the secret passage.
You can explore the area, open the coffins and fight with the local skeletons, or climb the wooden platform right away. There’s only one way to get lost. Approach the mirror.
It’s going to start asking you questions. Correct Answers:
- “My name is [Ваше имя]”.
- “Yes, I am an ally! ally of your master.”
- “Disgusting body. Even a thousand deaths will not be enough for him.”.
- “I read the doctor’s diary: he used balm to clean the wound”.
- “I need a spell that can remove this worm in my head.”
If desired, the mirror can be intimidated. Astarion will approve such a way to solve the problem.
Then continue. Pull the lever to open a shortcut to the pharmacy. Pick up the key on the shelves on the left.
Follow to the right and open the grate. Watch out for falling! They must first be disinfected.
Get Thai’s necromancy.
When you pick up the book, you have the choice of what to do with it:
- Give to Gale;
- destroy her;
- To rescue.
The first two options lead to the same result – the item will disappear forever. We recommend that you keep the book. But to open it, you need a dark amethyst. Keep in mind that if you try to destroy the book, three shadows will appear, which will not be easy to deal with.
Where to look (how to find) dark amethyst
You need to go to the well in the Infested Village. This is located to the right of the pharmacy.
You must explore the pit with a coin toss or the Investigation skill. Then go down. You need to go northwest, through the nest of phase spiders. If you can’t fight them yet, use a potion or an invisibility spell. You can also try sneaking past.
You will eventually reach the spider queen, but it is not necessary to kill it. Note the dark amethyst to its right. This item must be taken.
Use a scroll or Feather Fall spell to avoid fall damage and jump down. Or you can use the vines on the left.
How to read Necromancy Thai. What can you do with a book
After receiving the dark amethyst you will have the opportunity to use the book. There are four options to choose from:
- Destroy. This option is available to you from the very beginning. The volume of necromancy will simply disappear and you will have to fight three Shadows.
- Give to Astarion. Apparently the book is useful for this character, but you won’t see any specific increase in attributes.
- Read a book. To get the maximum bonus, you need 20 wisdom points. In this case, you get Speak to the Dead and Forbidden Knowledge skills, as well as 1 extra point on Wisdom reels.
- Take the book with you. This option is optimal if you have less than 20 Wisdom Points. Save reading for later.
