Alternative world of the future Atomic Heart is filled with robots of all kinds designed to simplify human labor and solve pressing problems. During the introductory part of the game, the practical application of robots in various fields of human life is clearly seen, but the true purpose and purpose of creating robots is concluded under the Atomic Heart project and revealed during the game.
From the early hours of the game, we learn about the value and importance of robots in today’s society. Made in the Soviet Union, robots have a wide range of capabilities from helping out in various heavy industries to solving household or medical applications.
The HRAZ voice assistant reported that the system was not technically hacked and rewritten, but only the existing behavioral protocols were launched when encountering a potential enemy. The question arises, why did the robots openly show aggression towards people, considering others “enemies”?

The true purpose of robots and the reason for aggressive behavior after activation of protective protocols lies in the Atomic Heart project. During the game, it becomes known that the project is to create different robots, all of which appear peaceful and perform basic functions such as loading, transporting, and the like. In reality, however, the robots have a combat protocol, to which they will use their “peaceful” tools to destroy living humans when transitioning.
Atomic Heart’s plan was to flood the United States with these robots as part of humanitarian aid, as few would refuse free labor. Fill the streets of cities, companies, military bases with robots and then suddenly turn on the battle mode and conquer America. For the purposes of this article, we’ll take a look at the targeted use of the “combat mode” of various robots encountered throughout the game.

VSHK-69 “Vatryoshka”
A unicycle robot with sensors for performing reconnaissance geodetic work, detecting minerals and solving hydrogeological problems.
True Purpose: When reaching the maximum rotational speed, the wheel of the geodesic robot of the VShK-69 unicycle can cut the human body in half. It is equipped with a 7.62 caliber machine gun. If necessary, the armament is replaced by a fire or laser installation.

RAF-9 “Engineer”
The robot is widely used in daily life and enterprises. Designed to help factory workers, designers. High-precision manipulator arms allow the robot to perform a full range of technical activities.
true destination: The robot’s limbs are made of SPT-4 for better performance in breaking the human spine.
NA-T256 “Natasha”
Large robot loader designed for heavy repair, lifting and construction work. Some models are equipped with jet engines to overcome obstacles in the air.
True Purpose: The HA-T256 large ground robot loader can squeeze up to 5 liters of blood from the human body within 20 seconds.

MED-6 “Medic” (Doc)
A robot designed to perform regular medical procedures and make the work of nurses easier. “Doc” has replaceable tanks with biopolymer solutions and the main body is capable of performing simple medical operations.
True Purpose: Being a mobile medical device, the “Doc” is unable to perform the functions of a nurse or paramedic, but it does a great job of performing the functions of a pathologist, especially if the “patient” is still is conscious.

SHM-7 “Bumblebee”
A flying robot tractor designed to carry loads of several tons. It is used on hard-to-reach objects and in conjunction with the HA-T256 robot, which receives and dispatches heavy loads.
True Purpose: The bumblebee has a silent mode to infiltrate behind enemy lines and collect position data.

“Dew”
The biorobot is a muscle mass of biopolymer in a mechanized exoskeleton. It is used in mining, especially for drilling wells with a laser element installed.
True Purpose: The exoskeleton of a neuropolymer creature based on the ivy. Thanks to the element with a mechanical laser, “Rosa” has the highest attack validity: the time it takes the beam to pass through human flesh is 0.15 seconds.

“burlak”
Cargo robot for warehouse purposes. It is used for unloading, moving and sorting goods in warehouses.
True Purpose: “Burlak” is able to detain unauthorized persons through a special arrest. It will ground the target until human reinforcements arrive; in the absence of the latter, it eliminates the target.

VOV-A6 “Laboratory Assistant”
A versatile lab assistant designed to assist in scientific research activities. The versatility of the robot lies in a wide range of tasks it performs: from helping families and solving everyday problems to assisting with abdominal surgery.
True Purpose: Ideal for taking out live personnel, trained in close combat techniques, prioritizes breaking cervical vertebrae to stop the slightest chance of target survival.

MUV-1 Barn Owl
A small flying robot used in agriculture. The robot monitors crops and pastures. Less payload is compensated by more mobility.
True Purpose: Light reconnaissance drone. As part of the barn owl group, he is able to lift the enemy into the air and drop it from a great height.

AMU-68 “Employee”
A small working robot designed for the needs of livestock. Depending on the configuration, the robot is used both as a herdsman and for logging.
True Purpose: The AMU-68 robot is actively used as a patrol in correctional facilities.

SUV-1 stage
Medium versatile flying robot, mainly used to transport goods over short distances.
True Purpose: In addition to cargo transport, Grofa is used in punitive operations: thanks to the unique shape of the blades, which work on the principle of the Archimedes’ screw, it can crush the human body like an industrial meat grinder.
