In GTA 5, the secret GTA: Liberty City Remastered was found and shown

Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series of games from the American company Rockstar Games, in the absence of news about GTA 6, continue to study their favorite part of the franchise – GTA 5. One of the gamers discovered a mysterious Easter egg in the open-air world of the action. It has already been confirmed by well-known bloggers in the fan community Rockstar Mag, MrFaucheur and GamingBGK. They were able to find the secret city of Liberty City from the previous installment of the GTA IV franchise in the game. Many fans believe this is yet another confirmation of the rumors surrounding GTA: Liberty City Remastered and the upcoming addition of a new city to the game.

To see Liberty City, you’ll need to find the Opium Nights Hotel in GTA 5’s open world. The building must be approached at night. Up close you can see the reflection in the windows of the hotel. Fans of the franchise immediately recognized a long-known city in this silhouette. At the same time, Liberty City itself is still not in the open world. Earlier, rumors appeared on the network that the promotion would be expanded due to a large-scale update of GTA: Liberty City Remastered. Another city from GTA 4 is added to the open world, but with modern graphics.

Fans have noticed that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of GTA 5 don’t have this secret. The Liberty City reflection does not appear in any of the graphical modes. Fans of the franchise have speculated that the developers removed the Easter egg to make the upcoming announcement of GTA: Liberty City Remastered louder and more surprising.

GTA 6 has been officially announced by Rockstar Games. The release date is not yet known.
