Studio Naraven Games and publisher All in! Games has announced the release of a first-person game called Backfirewall_. This is a quirky puzzle game that takes the player on a tragicomic adventure in a smartphone.
According to the plot, gamers will have to avoid updating the OS9 operating system. It is in danger of being replaced by a much better optimized OS10. Players must explore the inner world of the smartphone, meet unusual characters, solve puzzles and use cheat codes to avoid updating the system.
Note that the game has a narrator similar to the one in The Stanley Parable. It will sometimes help the passage of the game or, conversely, interfere.
The game can be purchased on Steam at a discount – the price is 495 rubles. There are versions on PS4 and PS5, as well as Xbox Series. And before the end of the year, the game will also be released on the Nintendo Switch.
