Last spring we talked about a free Superman game created from technodomo The matrix awakens. Recently, developer Tyson Butler-Boschma complained that a certain Hero Game Studios downloaded the project and started illegally selling it on Steam.
The game was released in early November under the name Heroes City Superman Edition. Now the “developers” are asking 420 rubles for it, but a week ago the title was sold for 1200 rubles.

The scammers also filed a complaint against the game’s original gameplay video, citing copyright infringement. Butler-Boshma left a negative review on the game’s Steam page, where he explained the whole situation. The scammers responded by accusing him of lying.
Our game is not stolen. One of our team’s former developers TJ ATOMICA left us a long time ago. Now he claims that the whole project is his. This is completely incorrect. The rights to the game and the development process are wholly owned by us. The reason he did this is because the game’s sales grew quite quickly. He thinks he can make money with it.
The developer contacted an insider Tom Henderson (Tom Henderson) and confirmed that he was working on the game alone. The project can still be downloaded for free here.❌ Ubisoft is no longer in Russia
