Russians blocked the ability to create accounts in the Turkish PS Store

On social networks, users began to report that registering new Turkish PlayStation accounts from Russia gives an error and does not allow to create an account. The reasons for this are still unknown, the system only reports the inability to create an account and offers to contact support, this manifests itself on PC and consoles. VPN does not help.

Russians blocked the ability to create accounts in the Turkish PS Store

If you use the console and Gmail mail, registration is still possible. At the same time, the registration works in Turkey itself and Russian postal services are also supported. Accounts already created work normally.

In addition, the Turkish and Argentine Xbox Store has lost the ability to buy games as gifts. It is not yet clear whether this only applies to Russians or not.

Note that Turkey and Argentina are used by Russians to buy digital versions of console games due to sanctions and cheap projects. In Russia, same games can cost more 6.9 points – this is how PS4 players rated God of War: Ragnarok on Metacritic
