Mystical third-person action Control 2 is officially in development. Remedy Entertainment announced this today. As noted, the game is being made in collaboration with 505 Games, while there are no details about the plot. But the first concept art of the project has been published.

The game was previously codenamed Codename Heron and will be built on Remedy’s proprietary Northlight engine. The game itself is still at a fairly early stage, so the company isn’t saying anything about the release date yet. As for platforms, the novelty will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Control 2 becomes a continuation of the original Audit 2019. The original budget for the follow-up will be EUR 50 million. Remedy will handle the PC version, while 505 Games will handle the console.
