For those who Elden Ring didn’t seem pretty enough in terms of graphics, modder Bardo made a mod (Texture Improvement Project) that adds over 25GB of high-resolution textures. In the screenshots he compared them with the original ones.
According to the author, the mod doubles the quality and resolution of textures (environmental elements, trees, rocks, paintings, clouds, etc.).
As for the impact on the game’s performance, the modder claims that the mod should not negatively affect the FPS number if the video card has at least 6 GB of VRAM (the mod has not yet been tested on video cards with less VRAM).
