Telecinco has begun naming the contestants for its latest edition of the adventure reality series, Survivors. The hosting trio of Jorge Javier Vázquez, Lara Álvarez, and Carlos Sobera will be joined by Ion Aramendi to guide the show as it heads to Honduras. The new season, described as a transformative journey, is set to debut on a Thursday night, with the cast stepping into a dramatic, high-stakes format that promises plenty of surprises.

Earlier this week, Mediaset released the first promo for Survivors, highlighting the familiar emcees in bold outfits and showing their playful, fearless side. The spectacle hints at a bold path through the competition, as celebrities will soon be flown to the rehearsal location, hop from a helicopter, and officially enter the game. Here is the growing list of participants confirmed so far.

Nacho Palau

Nacho Palau, known for his long-time public profile as Miguel Bosé’s former partner, is the first contestant confirmed for Survivors. While he has frequently appeared in media circles, this marks his debut on a reality television stage produced by Bulldog. This season offers Palau his first immersive reality experience.

Kiko Matamoros

Kiko Matamoros, previously associated with the 2022 Survivors edition, is the second contestant revealed, as reported by Deluxe. The Sálvame contributor reportedly finalized an agreement after a tense exchange with a producer, which drew considerable attention in the lead-up to the season.

Ainhoa Cantaloa

Ainhoa Cantaloa becomes the third confirmed participant for Survivors 2022, as noted by Viva la Vida. A former winner of Operación Triunfo in 2002 and a Eurovision hopeful in 2010, she is set to embark on a helicopter-assisted journey into the competition arena.

Martha Penate

Martha Penate adds another layer to the reality TV landscape. Known for appearances on GH 16, a season won by Sofia Suescun, and later work as a journalism graduate, Penate has returned to public life through various Mediaset programs. Her recent path includes contributions to a magazine’s second season and participation in reality spinoffs tied to Mediaset’s portfolio.

Anabel Pantoja

Anabel Pantoja joins the lineup as well. Isabel Pantoja’s niece previously appeared on a 2014 edition of the show, with a stay on Cayos Cochinos that was notably brief. She even volunteered to leave the competition early due to the intense conditions.

Ignacio de Borbón

The new season also welcomes Ignacio de Borbón, a relatively new television profile described by Ya es mediodía. He is recognized for his modeling success in Asia and is a distant cousin of Felipe VI. His lineage traces back to Enriqueta de Borbón, connecting him to historical royal lines.

Mariana Rodríguez

Mariana Rodríguez is the seventh confirmed contestant. The Venezuelan model, who previously competed on the Italian version of GH VIP, has signed with the production to lead Honduras in the coming days, following confirmation during the season’s finale of The Secret Story.

Charo Vega

Charo Vega is also set to travel to Honduras to join the new Survivors edition. The TV staple, known for appearances on Sálvame and Deluxe, is connected to a circle of celebrities including Carmina Ordoñez, Mila Ximénez, and Lolita Flores, and is tied by family history to the entertainment world.

Anuar Beno

Anuar Beno rounds out the lineup as the ninth confirmed contestant. He previously appeared as Asraf’s brother on GH VIP 2018, offering support during his sibling’s appearance. Beno has also pursued modeling and acting work.

Ruben Sànchez

Ruben Sánchez Montesinos, an elite bodybuilder, joins as the tenth contestant. He is publicly open about his sexuality and has used his platform to challenge stereotypes in sports. His relationship with Enrique Del Pozo, a collaborator on Viva la Vida, has been a focal point of coverage.

Ana Luque

The eleventh confirmed competitor is Ana Luque, who has been recognized for advocacy and public visibility since her appearance on last year’s Survivor. She is poised to cross the pond and become a central figure in the new edition led by Jorge Javier Vázquez, Lara Álvarez, Carlos Sobera, and Ion Aramendi.

Juan Muñoz

The twelfth contestant, Juan Muñoz, formerly part of Cruz y Raya, was officially announced by Telecinco to travel to Honduras and join the adventure in the upcoming days. His participation marks the culmination of a milestone in a prolific television career in the country.

Yulen Pereira

The fencing champion Yulen Pereira is also joining Survivors, traveling to Honduras with the rest of the cast. Pereira is the son of renowned épée fencer Manuel Pereira, a world champion in 1989, and at 26 has studied psychology at UCAM while earning recognition in the sport with European and national results.

Desy Rodríguez

Desy Rodríguez is another confirmed face for the new Survivors season. Known for her early fame on Big Brother 14 and later popularity as Paca la Piraña, her return to mainstream reality brings a familiar energy to the cast.

Tania and Alejandro (Isla de las Tentaciones)

Two participants previously linked to La Isla de las Tentaciones appear on the fourth edition roster. The press has noted Adolfo Suárez’s photographs at Madrid-Barajas as the pair heads to Honduras to join the competition.
