The clan will host a series of spatial programming events in conjunction with the upcoming celebration. In conjunction with the International Working Women’s Day, TVE has announced that its children’s channel will dedicate a block of programming to themes of equality. A lineup of specially produced segments will begin airing next March, bringing attention to equal opportunities for all children and the importance of recognizing emotions, caring for others, and showing mutual respect.
Across March, the campaign will be visible on Clan and across social media. The project uses short form pieces to convey messages about equal chances, the value of expressing feelings, and the need to treat everyone with kindness. The content highlights positive messages and features profiles of women in various professions, including notable figures celebrated on the program Lunnis de Leyenda, such as Marie Curie, Rosario Weiss, and Clara Campoamor. The project comprises 45 video clips that center on women’s stories and achievements while promoting respectful attitudes toward all genders.
Additionally, the channel will air special programs on Friday, March 8, in observance of Women’s Day. These episodes of Clan’s line-up will spotlight female characters across popular titles such as Peppa Pig, This Pony, Trotties, and Vera and the Rainbow Kingdom, among others, to illustrate diverse role models and empowering narratives.
In another segment titled The Klan, the topic of equality will be explored. One day’s discussion will address the question, Should housework be shared? The program will examine daily responsibilities and how shared tasks can contribute to a more balanced home life, encouraging viewers to think critically about traditional gender roles and contemporary expectations.
