A total of 12 cooperation agreements were signed, collectively valued at 15.6 billion rubles, a figure disclosed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in an official report circulated through the city’s channels.

Among the most notable deals is a partnership between the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation and the Dobrograd-1 Special Economic Zone. The initiative positions MIC to identify promising residents and cutting edge solutions for a future-oriented furniture cluster, underscoring Moscow’s commitment to innovation in design and manufacturing.

The event drew participation from more than 650 companies spanning 30 countries and welcomed over 220 thousand attendees across its four days, from October 28 to October 31. The scale and international reach underscored Moscow’s role as a hub for furniture, textiles, accessories, decor, and finishing materials.

Across the fair, more than 80 Moscow brands showcased products and work under the capital’s Made in Moscow program, which supports local producers and helps connect regional creators with broader markets. The exhibition also welcomed participants from Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, China, Uzbekistan, and other nations, reflecting a diverse and global marketplace.

Representatives from Russian regions including Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Vologda, and Ryazan participated, with manufacturers from St. Petersburg also presenting. The event highlighted a strong regional presence alongside international participation, emphasizing Moscow’s strategic role in the national design economy.

Earlier commentary from Alexandra Sankova, director of the Moscow Design Museum, reflected on Russia’s aesthetic preferences as the event explored contemporary living spaces. The discussion touched on how interior styles and decorative trends influence apartment design choices across the country, signaling ongoing developments in consumer taste and industry response.
