Lorena Morlote, the second participant to be permanently expelled from the reality series, arrives in Spain after leaving Playa Limbo with little regret. The artist hoped to return to daily life, the hairdressing job, and the comfort of life outside competition. Her first stop would be the set of No Man’s Land, where tensions with Makoke would surface again upon her return.
Carlos Sobera asked Kiko Matamoros if she wished to accept the standing friend and the other friends, and she admitted she had not decided yet. Screens finally announced Lorena Morlote and Makoke entering. Unlike others, she remained seated. After greeting family and friends, the survivor approached and asked, “Can I give you a kiss?” They exchanged two kisses delicately under the public’s watchful eye.
The first topic discussed was Morlote’s controversial exchange with herself. Lorena told Laura Matamoros that Makoke is not worth defending, explaining that this was not a personal matter against Makoke, but that she and her family and friends could not defend her. Nadia Fernandez. She recalled refusing to advocate for Makoke; Makoke immediately accused her of lying, saying, “I didn’t want to defend you because I work here, defenders don’t get paid.”
Each cast member defended their own position and shifted the topic before reaching a common ground. Makoke appeared no more hurt by these remarks than Laura Matamoros, who dedicated a helicopter jump to Makoke’s words, saying, “Makoke, to the street.” Makoke chastised Laura for stopping people from talking about Aurah, whom she had only known a few weeks. Laura nonetheless continued to poke fun at her.
Lorena argued, “If you have such an opinion, I will respect it and nothing will happen.” Makoke replied, “Honestly, nothing happens, I know you care very little anyway; you showed it, so I don’t like it either.” Sobera urged the contestant to sit beside Makoke, who made room but kept a half-meter distance so as not to be too close.
Lorena Morlote after the program
A calmer Lorena spoke exclusively to Europa Press after the episode, explaining that she hoped to approach Makoke without sacrificing the friendship she had with Laura in Honduras.
“It’s been a wonderful, wonderful experience. I’m leaving with a beautiful memory. I was going to be in Spain anyway for certain reasons, and it feels great.” She also spoke of Laura, Aurah, and Kiko Jiménez as meaningful friends, sharing that reuniting with her daughter and receiving flowers brought joy. She expressed gratitude for the care shown by a trusted companion and said she was very happy.
The article notes that Makoke’s attitude toward Morlote upon returning from the reality show was surprising. Lorena still needed time to fully understand what happened and what was said on the island, acknowledging that the breakup with the collaborator had “hurt” her because she believed a friendship with both individuals could be maintained, including with her old Matamoros friend.
She explained that while some minor issues arose, she spoke well of everyone involved. She did not take Laura’s side, noting uncertainty about whether the disagreement stemmed from that alone or from hearing only fragments of conversations. She emphasized that friendship and life hold more value and expressed confidence in talking with Makoke to see what could be fixed, describing the desire to repair the relationship as genuine and sincere.
