One of the most talked-about moments arrived quickly. On Monday night, Anita Matamoros watched the reality show Survivors: No Man’s Land, hosted by Carlos Sobera, and publicly backed one of the contestants. And no, it wasn’t her sister Laura Matamoros who received the show’s cheers.
Daughter of Anita Matamoros and Kiko Matamoros, Makoke’s sister Laura Matamoros entered the competition as a new contestant named Kiko Jimenez.
Laura’s participation wasn’t without controversy. Just as the helicopter jump began, she uttered a provocative line: “I will also dedicate this to a person who I know was on the set and who was about to die. I feel jealous that I couldn’t make this jump. Go out!” The words drew attention for their sharp edge and unexpected tone.
It remained unclear how Anita felt about her mother’s reaction to Laura’s remarks, but the moment was tense, and Makoke, who watched the jump live, could be seen crying after witnessing the scene.
In daily life, Anita and Laura share a strong sisterly bond, often seen spending time together on social media. Their close relationship makes the current tension on screen particularly noteworthy for fans.
Who does Anita Matamoros support?
What can be confirmed is that Makoke’s daughter has been following the show closely since posting a supportive story about a friend, Zayra Gutierrez, a friendship that may reflect shared connections between their mothers, Arantxa from Benito and Makoke.
But Anita’s support isn’t limited to one contestant. Earlier, she posted a video cheering Miri Pérez-Cabrero: “Yujuuuu, my love, you’re doing such a good job, the most fighter.” The message underscored pride in perseverance and effort on screen.
As of now, there is no visible support or encouragement directed toward any other contestant or Laura herself from Anita in the public sphere.
Laura Matamoros, unsupported
Neither Anita nor her brother Diego or their father have publicly rallied behind Laura in this survival challenge. The family’s media presence is not aligned with visible endorsements for her on the show.
Earlier notes indicated Laura did not post any personal images from the competition, and Diego, who frequently shares moments from his daily life online, did not appear to be posting about the show either. Personal matters, including a recent breakup with Marta Riumbau, may have influenced his engagement. He does not seem to be watching the program at this time.
Similarly, Laura’s father has not shown public backing. Kiko Matamoros has been traveling to Dubai with his wife Marta López-Álamo and has not been available to publicly support his daughter in the on-screen survival challenge.
