Reality TV Star Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Skin Health Struggles
Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian spoke openly about her ongoing battle with several skin conditions in a revealing interview with Refinery29.
Kardashian described dealing with acne, psoriasis, and recurring breakouts, explaining how these issues have affected her daily routine and self-perception.
“I developed acne as an adult. It hides very well under makeup. If people saw my face without makeup, they would be shocked to realize I had makeup on. This may be due to hormonal factors or changes in supplements. Every time I adjust my diet or try new skincare products, my skin becomes more sensitive. It’s been an adventure trying new products and discovering what works for different skin types. I never imagined facing this in my 40s,” Kardashian shared.
She also noted that psoriasis flares have occurred, and she has sometimes stopped trying to determine the exact cause, focusing instead on managing flare-ups when they arise.
“There are moments when stress seems to peak and psoriasis doesn’t bother me at all, while at other times, even in a state of calm, the condition reappears. It’s a reminder of how unpredictable skin health can be,” she admitted, offering a candid look at the complexities of living with chronic skin conditions.
In a separate family health note, Kardashian’s sister Khloe faced a health issue in 2016 described as skin cancer. Because it was detected early, treatment proceeded with a high chance of success, and she underwent necessary surgery to remove a tumor from her cheeks.
Beyond health, the family’s public life intersects with style and media events, including appearances at fashion presentations. Notably, chatter around a Beckham show highlighted the influence and connections within the fashion world, with various media figures discussing shifts in editorial leadership during that period.
