The French house Hermes showcased a refined porcelain tableware line at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, highlighting a hand-decorated finish that adds character to every piece.

The presentation took place in a striking setting—an all-glass installation bathed in multi-colored lighting that drew attention to the collection. Alongside porcelain, the lineup features leather-seated chairs and cashmere decorative accents, underscoring Hermes’s approach to cohesive luxury living.

Other fashion houses participated in the furniture-focused segment of the fair. Designer Philippe Starck reimagined the Dior Medallion chair, originally unveiled in 1947, recasting a classic Louis XVI silhouette in aluminum to emphasize its facets and lines.

Jonathan Anderson offered the Loewe wicker collection, titled Knit, Restore, Refresh. The initiative explores repurposing and renewal, presenting vases, baskets, and small leather and wicker accessories that speak to sustainability and second lives for traditional materials.

Philipp Plein announced a furniture collaboration with Dutch brand Eichholtz, signaling a broader strategy that includes a contract with a major Italian developer to design two luxury residential complexes in Rome and Milan.

The Milan furniture fair, Salone del Mobile, ran from June 7 to June 12, reaffirming the event as a leading showcase for high-end interiors, design innovations, and cross-category collaborations that blend fashion with furniture.
